Who We Are
Our History
JOURNEY OF GUIDANCE & RELIEF is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization, which was founded in 2023 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals and families in need. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, trying to serve hundreds of individuals each year.
Our Vision
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Our vision is to create an organization that is built for those who strive to become independent. At JGR, we believe that every day is a new chance to help another and be dependable for adults and children in times of need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide comprehensive support, empowerment, and resources to vulnerable populations, including the homeless, needy families, abused women and children, and immigrants. Through compassionate care, advocacy, and community collaboration, we strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where individuals and families can rebuild their lives, regain their dignity, and achieve self-sufficiency. Our organization is committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by these marginalized groups, promoting social justice, and fostering lasting positive change in our community.
